Who is Chris Dangerous?

Chris Dangerous has been a professional entertainer for 10 years. Based in Devon, Chris started his entertainment career in holiday camps learning the trade from the bottom up. Chris now performs his bizarre and off the wall comedy magic act in hotels, holiday camps, theatres and clubs all over the U.K. and Europe. Chris also has engagements in radio and other media.

The Act

Chris Dangerous is a fresh, dynamic and energetic comedy act, with a very unique performance style. Chris is able to captivate and enthral his audience performing magic feats and apparent life risking routines. This very energetic performance grabs the audience’s attention from the off set and keeps them engaged throughout.

During his performance Chris is able to deliver some very individual routines; balloon swallowing, and placing tic-tacs into his eyes are two of the more unconventional effects that can be seen. Chris also performs his own take on more classical magic tricks in a very humorous way.

Chris has been dubbed, the UK's most unbelievable psychic. During the show, Chris demonstrates his seemingly impossible mind reading skills. He’s able to correctly name the birth date of any member of the audience. He reveals a prediction made by a member of the audience to be true. And also proves that anyone can be psychic, by holding an ESP test. During this test the whole audience are witness to, two volunteers telepathically passing a thought across the stage.

One of the highlights of the act is an attempt to perform a very dangerous but classic magical stunt. This has been performed for many decades and by some of the biggest names in the business, claiming the lives of over thirteen magicians. Of course Chris recreates this classic effect in his own individual and very funny style.

The climax of the show is a very impressive and entreating display of fire eating. Chris is not only able to extinguish the flame by using his mouth, but proceeds to actually set his tongue and mouth on fire.

The whole act is fast paced and well produced, joined tightly by Chris’s quick whit and fearless approach to the audience. The performance relies greatly on audience reaction, involvement and participation. Chris Dangerous is a comedy magic act that has a fresh and dynamic approach to comedy and magic. Whilst the presentation is fresh and dynamic, the performance remains non offensive and is suitable for all audiences.
